The official ceremonial dress of the Society for men is a Morning Coat Suit comprising black coat, striped trousers, black waistcoat, black top hat, white gloves, Society badge, Society tie and large baton. Office Bearers carry special batons (see picture above) with rings of silver carrying the names of previous Office Bearers, going back to 1830.

The picture below show both the large ceremonial baton and the smaller baton which has to be carried at regular Society meetings. The Society is proud to be allowed to carry a baton. Members are fined at these meetings the nominal sum of 5p for not being in possession of the correct baton.
